You make us happy every single day, do you know how amazing that is?!!

Your officially a perfect crawler, except sometimes when you want to move from one place to another quickly, you remind me of a dragging zombie in fast motion! I say that teasingly with love :)


You can officially pull yourself up! I'm hoping by the time your 9 months you will be able to move along holding on to something like our hugely stained couch-stained 99% by you! And I wouldn't have it any other way :)


You've already moved a few steps forward, holding on to the couch, but we still have lots to go and we are enjoying every step of the way!


Your top teeth are starting to cut out, you can see your right tooth more than the your left though.


You have been proving to be so much like your daddy!






You like marinara like your daddy too, but not spaghetti!



One way is that of being a picky eater just like him! Right now all you really like is apples and bananas. I have hope your palette starts to grow though.


Your babbling seems to be getting a bit clearer, you definitely say "mama" a lot :) Warms my heart every time.
We still haven't gotten your new car seat yet, but hopefully soon.


One more thing I want to share with you for you to remember forever, is how much I love it, when ever I come back from leaving you with daddy, even if it is that I stepped into the kitchen for a while, I love, LOVE finding these kind of pictures when I return :)

Mommy forgot to mention your very first Thanksgiving! I don't know how when you are the very gift we are thankful for!

Mommy made her first turkey :) & you had a small tasting of the mash potatoes :)

  A couple of things happened during your 6 months of life, one of them being you got your first two teeth!  Look at that smile! :) We first noticed them on October 23rd and since then they've been growing out more. We didn't deal with too much fussiness or what not from you teething, but you would go crazy chewing things!

You have also been working on your crawling. You get frustrated after a while from being on your belly, but you have made a lot of progress. At first you dragged yourself and sometimes even went backwards instead of forward :). You now go longer distances and jump at your knees sometimes, but you haven't mastered it just yet. We are looking forward to it, I'm sure you will keep us on our feet!

You were scared of this costume, look at those tears!

 We put candy in front of you knowing it would take your mind off your the dino costume, but after that, it was hard to get your attention, but we managed just as well :)

This month we also started giving you baby food, your quite picky like your daddy, but so far your a fan of peaches and apples and bananas (together, you don't seem to like apples or bananas separately).
We got you a shopping cart cover this month too, so you can now sit on the cart comfortably instead of on your stroller, which we now take you on walks with, without the carrier. You sit there like a big girl :)

10/15/12

We will soon be buying you a convertible car seat and mommy will now get to go back to the passenger's seat! 
You babble a whole lot more now, the last time we went to the movies (probably our last for a while) I had to stand up with you, you did not want to be sitting down any longer than you had been and started to babble out loud. Mommy didn't mind though :) You mostly say "daddy" and "dada" and your voice is just so precious! You yell so loud sometimes, it is just too funny. I love when you speak to me!

We also started to give you bathes in our shower:

 We actually don't use the tub for you anymore though, we place a towel and you just sit on that now. 


Well my sweet angel, it is no secret, your growing more and more everyday! We love you so much and we always will!

Six Months Old!!!

Baby girl, your six months old today!!! I am one proud mommy! Not too much to update in your growth from month 5 to month 6, BUT enough...anything you do is enough to make us proud!!!
Today, October, 12, 2012 daddy took your 6 month old pictures during his lunch break :) Your napping this very moment, so I decided to use the time to update your blog.




As you can tell from the picture you are now sitting up without leaning to the front like mentioned in the previous blog! In fact, if you start to lean forward you get yourself right back up!!




You've been drooling extra these days, but still no signs of teeth...can't wait for those pictures!!









You are playing more and more with your toys and you love it!

You are so long! We bought you this saucer about a week after your turned 5 months and you didn't reach the bottom as much as you do now (like in picture). You also didn't enjoy it too much at first, but your enjoying it more and more. Your head also sticks out of your bath tub, but now that your sitting better, I've been bathing you sitting down so it all works out :)






Your interested in our Ipad and other electronics. Even the T.V controls!




Halloween is coming up and we still haven't decided what we are doing for a costume for you. Probably something cute and not necessarily a costume, but I will definitely post pictures. We are going to give out candy to anyone who stops by! I hope you enjoy seeing all the little kids around. I cannot wait till next Halloween to take you out and about so you can "trick or treat" yourself :)


We love you so much baby. Your family back in the states miss you so much! We hope to visit them again once you turn one.

4-5 months :)

My growing beauty,

your 5 months old already! Today is September 18,2012, and since our last blog you've grown in so many ways.


You started using your hands a whole lot more than before, grabbing at things (more than before), holding them without letting them go a lot longer, staring at your fingers, twirling your thumb between each of your other fingers. .You also enjoy playing with your feet, you even put your toes up to your mouth :)

 

And you seem to enjoying pulling at my hair, but it just makes me laugh :). Your always taking mine and your daddy's glasses off, a couple of times you've smacked them right off our faces!

Another thing you have started to do recently, is make noises I like to call your monster noises. I'm not sure if you are trying to say something or simply having fun with the things your able to do. I'll get a recording of that soon!


You can sit up unsupported only for a few seconds before you slowly start to lean your belly on your legs.






  As for crawling, we aren't there yet, but we keep giving you tummy time to help you get there. You like to play in that position, you do this thing that is like your gliding through the air. I'll have to get a picture of that. You also play around to were it is almost as if your doing push ups. You do that "push up" thing even when your in our arms, it's too funny. This has been since forever, but thought to point it out as it is definitely more obvious now how much you want to eat what we are eating! You stare at us like a hawk while we eat and sometimes try to grab at our food, especially when I'm holding you and eating at the same time :)
Another thing you've done for a long while now, but I don't think I've mentioned it, your always pouncing your arms against your stomach and chest, like a lil' gorilla. It is too cute!!
You also, again for a while now, get mad when we walk away from you. For example if you are in your daddy's arm, sitting down, I come by, but don't get you, you sometimes get mad and yell! You do the same to your daddy, whenever you guys are just hanging out and he steps out of whatever room for some reason, you sometimes get after him too! <3

This month, as always was full of blessings, but we also went through your first time of really being ill. We had to take you to the hospital over the weekend with a high fever, vomiting and diarrhea. Just until recently you completely were 100% better, with finally no diarrhea. The fever part was the worst. I could see it in you, how you were feeling and it hurt not being able to do anything, but you did find comfort in your mommy's arms- me! :) You were terca about not taking medicine and just wouldn't, throwing it up if you had happened to swallow some. But finally you are all better and healthy :)

Jungle River Cruise/Last pair of earrings you wore!

This past month you had your first boat ride! We went on a jungle river cruise, you seemed to enjoy looking around :)


We also decided to remove your earrings because your ears weren't looking healthy. We will leave it up to you in the future if and when you want to pierce them again.

You laugh and smile so much it makes everything worth while, we love you so much!

3-4 months!!!

My sweet girl, 
your third month of life was full with so much love and fun, I hope I have taken enough pictures so that you can always remember your first trip to visit your family. You were PERFECT on your first plane ride but you did get a minor rash that soon went away as soon as we arrived.

You met just about everyone on your very first night there. 

Your grandma Lucy and grandpa Jaime got to meet you first, including your aunt Jen. You were dead asleep, but they loved on you anyhow :)...Later you met your uncle Felix too. You have one more uncle, Danny, who wasn't able to meet you, but hopefully you will next time. They all love you so much and bought you so many gifts! You loved being held by them and spending time with them.

 After having met your grandparents from your dad's side, we went over to my moms and you got to meet her, your grandma Estela. You also met your uncles Eddie and Rudy and your aunt Abehni. Everyone was very happy to meet you! Later my friends came by to say a quick hello before the night ended. They could just not wait to see you :) Ashley and her daughter Scarlet were the first to meet you and Ashley could just not wait to steal you from my arms! Her sweet daughter Scarlet was so protective of you it was too sweet. Selina and Kimberly also met you that night and all took turns holding you. They love you so much. They were also the last of my friends to say goodbye to you...you were asleep and they cried as soon as they had to kiss you goodbye. I decided to wake you so you could see them one last time before we left. They are all the best friends I could ever ask for and they love you so much-we are so blessed.

Everyone had a very difficult time saying goodbye to you. In fact, both your grandmas made sure I didn't want to leave you with them, asking me one more time before we left if we wanted to leave you there with them! :) 

All along I was disappointed you weren't going to meet your aunt Christella, my sister, but she made a last minute decision to come :) She spoke to you on the phone and that is all it took to make her cry and realize she just had to make it :) We got to see my nephews, your cousins Jr and Martin, both were very fond of you.

Throughout your trip you met so many people that loved you dearly and sincerely. They were all protective of you, making sure nothing happened to you. They all love you so much and gave you so many gifts. We had to buy another suitcase! 

You got to meet your great grandparents on this trip and I am so grateful you did, you met your dad's aunts, uncles and cousins as well as I mine. You got to meet more of my dear friends and their children. Molly and her son Azael, Ruth and her son Ryan, Danielle and her daughter Sophia, Rosie and her son Gene. Everyone made time to make sure they got to meet you and we did our best to spend time with everyone. 

You accomplished many things through this trip including holding your head steady. You roll from your tummy to your back, from your back to your belly and sides, you twist and turn everywhere! You also hold on to your bottle, but only sometimes. We are very proud of you. You put just about everything in your mouth, your motor skills are getting better and better. You like us to hold you standing up, your legs are very strong! 

One other important first in this month, you got your ears pierced!

These sad faces break my heart into a million pieces!

You cried as the gun punched holes in your ears, but as soon as I stood up with, you were all better and fine :) 

You had your first laugh July 23rd with your daddy. You give us laughs and giggles when we tickle you and such, but again only sometimes-maybe you just don't find us that funny! :) I'm only kidding and can't wait to hear you laugh all the time <3 

This trip you also got a bit ill and we had to make a trip to the doctor, but you seemed all fine as soon as we got to the doctors office! None the less they still gave us medicine for your mocitos. 

Four Months Old Aug 12, 2012

Your four month check up, Aug 15, 2012:
You weighed 15lbs on the dot, which put you at 87 percentile in weight, but doctor said since you were 90 percentile in height that it wasn't too bad of a thing. The doctor said it was okay to start giving you gerber as long as you could sit up, but for now I'm only going to try a few of them on you...I bought you spoons today :) (Aug 15)



I am so happy to have you in our lives and just can't wait to keep making memories with you....until next time, your 4-5mth old blog :)

We didn't do much today, but only because mommy needed to clean and finish packing up for your very first trip home! We are SO EXCITED!!! Pictures of course will come for that in a new post :)










I mentioned to you before that on June 27, 2012 we took our first family photos and here are the best ones!























I have to say you didn't want to look at the photographer, but it was mostly because the sun wasn't being nice to your sweet delicate eyes :) We won this photo session from Memory Layne Photos in a contest by the help of a lot of people that love you!
















On June, you also had your first trip to the beach! Gab Gab beach on June 29, 2012 to be exact! Again, the sun isn't to friendly to your eyes, but we only decided to go because it was a shaded day and daddy really wanted to go snorkeling, he hadn't done that in a while :) As always here are some pictures of that day...
